The hotel has a pleasant homely feel, and the breakfast was great with a nice selection served directly to the table. My room had cleanliness issues, with peeling paint and an uncomfortable atmosphere due to noise from the bar area during the night. It's a decent choice for a short visit, but there is room for improvement.

Good city hotel only a stone's throw away from the market place.

The breakfast menu included a delicious selection with options like pancakes and eggs benedict that kids enjoyed .
Bedrooms are outdated with mismatched chairs, peeling paint, and carpets that show extensive wear. Issues like a broken window between the panes and a strange odor in the hallways took away from the experience.

our first room was lovely and had recently been decorated with a lovely view. however it had twin beds so we asked to be moved, we were moved to a room on the 1st floor with a view on to the kitchen room and wasnt very nice. i think its the luck of the draw.

Lovely welcoming and spotless hotel with properly trained staff at the receptionist. Magnificent and ideal setting in the extra comfy area, adjacent to the restaurant and breakfast, and many areas. 10 minutes walk from King John's Castle.

The reception area has a nice ambiance.
The corridors were narrow with an overwhelming smell of must and smoke, quite unpleasant.

I enjoyed the great location and the spacious, recently updated room with a nice view. The staff were pleasant and check-in was easy. The fish and chips we had for dinner were well cooked and filling. And a good reading light in the room was a bonus.

The whole experience was perfect from start to finish, recommend. It was a homely and gorgeous hotel in a pretty comfortable area, not far from local tourist attractions and opening times, and Waterford. The view was fabulous and the staff were very pleasant. The food was EXCELLENT and there were lots of dishes in the menu.
